The knitting club is a weekly drop-in here at the shop every Wednesday afternoon between 1pm and 4pm. There is no need to join and you dont have to come every week or stay for the whole three hours. Just come along when you can for as long as you want.

The group has just completed a project called "The Big Knit Challenge" launched by the Innocent Smoothie Company knitting tiny hats for its drinks bottles in support of the charity Age Concern in Haywards Heath. The group has knitted about 400 little hats, which will raise over £200.00 - so a big well done!

We are also still knitting jumpers for Africa  which we give to the charity 'Feed the Children' .

Knitting hats for the BISS and knitting jumpers for Africa are both ongoing projects so if you have some spare yarn and a little time between projects then either hats or jumpers would be greatly appreciated - just pop them into the shop and we will take care of the rest.
